But I'm waiting for a RTX3070 or 3080 regardless. My other alternative is to build a new pc because I need to do that anyway. My question is whether reinstalling windows will fix it? If that's true, then to fix the drivers do I only need to do a reset, fresh start, or clean install? Here is a picture of my device manager as it stands now. I've tried installing drivers from Asus with no luck. I've updated all other drivers and Windows 10. I've talked to Oculus support too, and it's not the Link cable or headset as they are able to connect on my laptop (just not this desktop). I have tried it in both the USB-C port and a regular fast USB port (blue ones) with an adapter which should work (USB 3.1 GEN 2 Male to Type-C Female Adapter ). My Oculus does not connect with the software (not recognized) as it should be. All of my USB ports work perfectly with normal peripherals (webcam, headphones, mouse, keyboard) except with my Oculus Quest 2. I have a driver error on my desktop that I am unable to fix after more than a week of trying.
